What to do when it rains in Vias and its surroundings

This doesn't happen often, but sometimes rain comes on vacation. Goodbye to the beach and swimming pool program of the day... it's depression until the sun returns. However, we must not let ourselves be discouraged! Rain doesn't have to ruin your vacation! Rainy days are an opportunity to discover our beautiful Languedoc-Roussillon / Occitanie region and to enjoy special moments with family, couples or friends.

What to do there ?

No need to go far to stay busy when it rains! If you don't want to take the car, there's nothing stopping you from taking advantage of the activities offered on site. At the Club Farret campsite our infrastructure allows you to have a good day even in the rain.

Relaxing day at the farret club spa

Just because it's raining doesn't mean you can't enjoy the water. For a relaxing and pampering afternoon, head to the Spa du Farret. Come and enjoy the zen atmosphere of the Spa to recharge your batteries and take care of yourself. Our team welcomes you for a relaxing trip, a massage or even a break for two. Make new friends at the Pirate Bar!

It's raining, take advantage of it to meet new people! Meet at the pirates bar to enjoy a pancake and tea and play a game of billiards or cards with new friends. Reading at the info point

Rainy days are also an opportunity to discover our info point. On site you can borrow a book from the library or discover information on regional activities. Also take advantage of this to stay connected! Wifi card and computers can also be found at the info point.

The indoor Europark: for the happiness of children

To keep the children busy in rainy weather, nothing could be simpler! Make them happy, take them to Europark Indoor in Vias-Plage. For children aged 1 to 13, the Europark Indoor has 2,500m² of games of all kinds: slides, ball pools, zip line... Enough to keep them busy all day.

Gourmet and/or cultural break

When it rains, it’s an opportunity to discover the department. There are many activities to do in Hérault despite the bad weather. In the surroundings of Vias-Plage you can cultivate yourself while tasting local products.

Vinipolis: tasting of regional wines

Meet in Florensac, just 15 minutes from Vias-Plage, to discover Vinipolis, an ecotourism complex to taste the best wines of the region. Combining wine tasting and gastronomy, this gourmet and fun outing will introduce you to the grape varieties, the characteristics of the wines and their winemaking methods. Discovery of Valmagne Abbey

Classified as a historic monument, Sainte-Marie de Valmagne Abbey is located in Villeveyrac. Nicknamed the Cathedral of the Vines, Valmagne Abbey is a treasure of French architecture. You can admire: cloister, gardens, vault and fountain. The inn also welcomes gourmets in its wine restaurant with organic products grown on site.

The Musée de l’Éphèbe: discover Cap d’Agde, a Phoenician city

To take in the sights while getting some culture when the weather isn't very nice, you should go to the Musée de l'Ephèbe in Cap d'Agde. An ancient Phocaean city, the Agathois waters are full of ancient maritime treasures, exhibited at the Musée de l’Ephèbe. You will be able to admire a Caesarion (statue of a young child, part of the major works of the museum) in an exceptional state of conservation.

Fish and sharks… visit the Mare Nostrum aquarium

Right next to the Odysseum shopping center, this is the activity that will delight your children. Sharks, seahorses and fish discover the underwater world at the Mare Nostrum aquarium in Montpellier.

If all the activities we have proposed have not tempted you… there is still the essential part of outings in the rain: the cinema. Near Vias-Plage you can opt for the Cinéma le Traveling (4 rooms) in Agde or the Méga CGR (12 rooms) in Béziers.
